Our people Ali Rahimi
Grassroots Advocacy ManagerAli Rahimi, M.P.H., is the grassroots advocacy manager for Voices for Healthy Kids. He is responsible for recruiting, mobilizing, and retaining volunteer advocates to advance the initiative’s policy priorities. Additionally, he assists campaigns with technical assistance, communications, and grassroots strategies.
Prior to his current role, Ali was a project coordinator for Voices for Healthy Kids and assisted the team in key areas of work related to communications, marketing, grassroots, preemption, partnerships, planning and logistics.
Ali holds a Master in Public Health with a concentration on health disparities and equity from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He received a Bachelor of Science dual degree in public health and human biology and anthropology from Emory University.
Ali has a strong passion for public, preventive and children’s health. He believes that introducing a culture of health and healthy behaviors to children is crucial to creating sustainably healthy populations for generations to come. His other passions include collecting and customizing sneakers, listening to and creating music and trying new foods.
