Our people Erica Phung

Erica Phung is a policy engagement manager for Voices for Healthy Kids. She provides consultation to grantees, volunteer leadership and American Heart Association staff on issues within the healthy schools portfolio including early care and education, physical activity, physical education, school nutrition, water access and wellness policies.

 Erica has been a proud member of the American Heart Association advocacy team since 2006, previously working on local, state and federal policies that impact cardiovascular health. 

A native San Diegan, Erica loves avocados on just about anything, wearing flip-flops year-round and sunset walks at Mission Bay with her husband John and rescue pup Penny.
