Our people Philip Noyes
Policy Research ManagerPhilip Noyes, M.P.H., M.A., is the policy research manager for Voices for Healthy Kids. He translates research findings into policy approaches that improve childhood health and eliminate health disparities.
Previously, he was the director of research and evaluation at the Brooklyn Neighborhood Health Action Center with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Center for Health Equity. Phil helped lead the health department’s efforts to examine active transportation with a focus on equity issues. His research on bike share and cycling in high-poverty Brooklyn neighborhoods has been published by the New York City Health Department and in the public health literature.
Phil holds a Master in Public Health from University of North Carolina and a Master of Arts in applied sociology from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in the New York City-metro area with his partner and two children. Prior to having kids Phil regularly competed in triathlons, he is currently contemplating a comeback.
