Director of Campaign Planning and CommunicationsReena E. Singh is the director of campaign planning and communications at Voices for Healthy Kids. She is responsible for the coordination of the research and development of tactical resources to support state and community-level public policy campaigns.
Previously, Reena worked at Community Catalyst, a national health advocacy organization whose mission is to organize and sustain a powerful consumer voice to ensure that all individuals and communities can influence the local, state and national decisions that affect their health. During her tenure, Reena held several roles serving most recently as chief program officer and director of technical assistance. Reena oversaw the organization’s technical assistance and strategic coaching services to state and community organizations across the country to build advocacy capacity and support campaigns aimed at expanding health coverage, access and equity. Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Reena served as the director of advocacy at the MergerWatch Project and the legislative liaison for the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts.
Reena was selected to participate in Boston University’s Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program and the National Women’s Law Center’s Progressive Leadership and Advocacy Network. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and her master’s degree in public policy and administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she received the Harvey Picker Prize for Public Service.
