Project CoordinatorYui Iwase is a Project Coordinator for Voices for Healthy Kids.
She has over 6 years of non-profit experiencing working in international agriculture development and food access projects in Honduras, Cambodia, and Dallas. Yui’s most recent role was in Dallas with the International Rescue Committee managing the food security and agriculture program where she helped refugee and immigrant families connect to urban agriculture opportunities, started a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Double Match accessible farm stand, and worked with local partners to advocate for refugees.
She is a North Texas Master Naturalist and a board member for a fair trade store, Ten Thousand Villages. Yui enjoys running, biking, and birding.
