Tell USDA: Don’t Weaken Nutrition Standards!

Recently, the USDA announced a proposed rule that could put our children’s health at risk by weakening nutrition standards in school meals. Our children need healthy, nutritious foods to thrive and to succeed at school but the USDA’s proposed rule would let schools serve fewer fruits and vegetables and more foods like pizza, burgers, and fries.

We need to tell the USDA that they’re making a mistake and that our children’s health and well-being should be their top priority. Please take just a few moments to submit a comment to the USDA telling them you oppose the proposed rule before the April 22nd deadline!

Whether your family would be directly impacted or not, we all have the right to have a say in how our children and the next generation are fed in schools. It is critically important that the USDA hear from as many health advocates as possible.
